Welcome Back Families and Hello New Ones

We are excited to see all of our new and returning students. Yesterday, Mr. Marklinger and Ms. Phillips met with each grade to welcome them and to discuss expectations for the year. We are excited about this upcoming school year.

What's Up Willow - News and Info

WuW is our number one way of communicating tWP Families on a weekly tmonthly basis. You must be signed up (on CBE main website) treceive “commercial emails.” We ask that parents/guardians share this information with their child(ren) as our students dnot receive this communication. We will typically send families a link that will bring you tour WP website where all WuWs are stored.

Upcoming Athletics

Our fall athletic program begins next week. Students in grades 6-9 can tryout or participate in Cross Country, Basketball and Soccer. Tryout days and times are advertised on our WILD TV screen in the main foyer.

School Council Meetings

Just a note that September’s School Council meeting is TUESDAY, September 12 in person at WPS in our Learning Commons upstairs. Our original communication stated it was Wednesday. This was incorrect.

Our School Council is in need of volunteers to fill executive positions. Please consider giving some of your time tthis valuable group.

Healthy Hunger

Check out www.healthyhunger.ca to sign up and purchase fun and delicious lunches 2x/month. HH is a School Council initiative.

Sept. 20 | Little Caesars

Please note that when your child is away – we will call you tsee if you want to DONATE your food ta student, PICK IT UP before the end of the day, or GET IT the next day at Lunch.

We will not keep any fun lunches beyond next day’s lunch, unless prior arrangements are made with the office.
