Results Are In | Survey On School Fees, Budgets And SDP
Thank you to those families who completed our parent engagement survey on school fees, budget and our School Development Plan. Check out the results of this survey here.
Class Lists
We are already looking towards next year and want to offer families an opportunity to suggest a positive peer or two to bring forward with their child next year. There are no guarantees as staff do put a ton of consideration into making classes, based on what they have seen all year long. Sometimes besties don’t make the best classmates!
Please email willowpark@cbe.ab.ca with your child’s name and names of 3-5 peers that may work (or may not work) Again we will try our best to match up with at least 1 peer.
Night Of The Artist – Parent & Guardian Artists Needed
Our 3rd annual Night of the Artist is fast approaching and we look forward to sharing in celebrating our amazing program with you. The event will take place on May 9 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This is a drop in format, there will be live student music, art exhibits and a book fair hosted by Owl’s Nest Books.
We are still looking for parents/ guardians who are artists in any form, who would be willing to share their craft with our community. You do not need to perform, or do live art, but rather share what you do, in an informal and fun setting! If you are curious and want more details about this opportunity, please connect with Ms. Schurig @caschurig@cbe.ab.ca for more information.
School Council Parent Engagement - Art Event
Join your Willow Park School Council along with Carrie Schurig, Willow Park Fine Arts Learning leader, for an evening of arts exploration.
You will have the opportunity to tour CSPACE and encounter exhibitions and public art, learn about this important art hub in our city, network with other families, connect with school staff and engage in an aesthetic experience, grounded in our school’s arts-centered learning dispositions. CSPACE is an arts incubator, which promotes artists and arts endeavours in our city.
This is an evening for parents only, not for students. Spots are limited.
